Renovation Canal House Apartment on the Herengracht in Amsterdam

We have been asked by our client to renovate this apartment situated in a canal house on the Herengracht in the centre of Amsterdam. The canal house dates back from the year 1735.

We created an apartment with a luxurious and modern feel, which is furnished by modern furniture from top brands. The modern look of the apartment is in contrast with the authentic and classic look of the canal house, which creates a unique effect.  Key atmospheric elements of the design are the floor by Dadawood, the marble kitchen island, and the lighting by Brand van Egmond.
